Getting There

  • Walking

    From downtown Crested Butte, the Nordic Center is easily accessible on foot. Head east on Elk Avenue towards 2nd Street. Turn right onto 2nd Street, and the Nordic Center will be on your left, adjacent to the Big Mine Ice Arena.

  • Public Transport

    The Mountain Express, a free shuttle service, operates throughout Crested Butte. Several stops are located near popular lodging and points of interest. Check the Mountain Express schedule for the most up-to-date route and arrival times. Get off at the stop closest to 2nd and Elk, from there the Nordic Center is a short walk.

  • Driving

    From Highway 135, turn west onto Elk Avenue into downtown Crested Butte. Continue on Elk Avenue to 2nd Street and turn right. The Nordic Center is located at 620 2nd St. Limited free 2-hour parking is available on the street. Additional free long-term parking is available in public parking lots. Paid parking may be available at Crested Butte Mountain Resort during the winter season. Be aware that overnight parking is not allowed.
