Walking
The Denver Public Library is located downtown in the Golden Triangle neighborhood, near the Denver Art Museum. If you are in the 16th Street Mall area, take the free 16th Street MallRide to Colfax Avenue, then walk south on Broadway to W 14th Avenue. The library will be on your left. This is a free and straightforward option.
Public Transport
Denver's Regional Transportation District (RTD) provides extensive bus and light rail service to the Central Library. Several bus routes stop near the library, including routes 0, 1, 20, and 28. You can also take the D or H light rail lines to the nearby stop. A standard ticket on the bus or light rail is $2.75 for a three-hour pass. Be sure to check the RTD website or app for the most up-to-date schedules and routes.
Driving
If driving, the Denver Public Library is located at 10 W 14th Ave, Denver, CO 80204. Several parking options are available in the vicinity. The Cultural Center Complex Garage, located at 65 W 12th Avenue, offers hourly rates. Metered street parking is also available, but limited to 1-2 hours. Be aware that parking rates may be higher during special events. Expect to pay around $2 per hour for metered parking and between $2 and $16 for garage parking.
