Driving
From Boulder, take Canyon Boulevard (Highway 119) west towards Nederland. Turn right onto Sugarloaf Road and follow it for approximately four miles. Turn left onto Sugarloaf Mountain Road. The road ends at a parking area near the trailhead. Parking is free, but can be limited. Expect a short drive on an unpaved road in good condition.
