If you're in downtown Denver, you can take the RTD bus. Find the nearest bus stop and board any bus that heads towards Colfax Ave. Look for Bus Route 15 or 16, which run frequently. Once on the bus, ride until you reach the Colfax Ave & Broadway stop. From there, walk east on Colfax Ave for about 3 blocks until you reach 200 E Colfax Ave, where the Colorado State Capitol is located.
Public Transport - Light Rail
You can also take the Light Rail from various locations in Denver. Board any train that goes towards the 'C' or 'D' line. Get off at the 'Union Station' stop and transfer to the 'W' line towards 'Golden'. Get off at the 'Colfax at Auraria' stop. From there, head east on Colfax Ave for about 5 blocks until you reach the Colorado State Capitol at 200 E Colfax Ave.

If you are already in the vicinity, the Colorado State Capitol is a short walk away. Look for Colfax Ave, and head towards 200 E Colfax Ave. You’ll notice the golden dome of the Capitol from a distance, guiding you there. If you’re near Civic Center Park, simply walk toward the east side of the park, and you’ll find the Capitol building right across the street.
Bicycle
Denver is a bike-friendly city. You can rent a bike from a local bike-sharing service like B-Cycle. Head towards Colfax Ave, and follow the bike lanes. The Colorado State Capitol is located at 200 E Colfax Ave, and there are bike racks available nearby for you to secure your bike while you explore the building.
