Walking
From downtown Durango, head north on Main Avenue. Turn right onto 29th Street and walk east towards the Animas River. Cross the street, and you'll find the park entrance on the corner of East 3rd Avenue and 29th Street. The walk is approximately 15-20 minutes.

Durango Transit offers bus service throughout the city. Check the Durango Transit website or app for the most up-to-date routes and schedules. Several bus stops are located within walking distance of Memorial Park Phase II. As of July 2025, a single ride is typically $1. However, Durango Transit services are free between June 1st and August 31st.

From downtown Durango, travel north on Main Avenue and turn right (east) onto 32nd Street. Cross the bridge and turn right (south) onto East 3rd Avenue. The parking lot is on the right at the corner of East 3rd Avenue and 29th Street. Parking is free. Limited parking is available.
