From anywhere in Eastern Plains, head towards La Junta, CO. If you are coming from the east, take US Highway 50 west until you reach La Junta. If you are coming from the west, take US Highway 50 east to La Junta. Once in La Junta, follow the signs for CO-194. Bent's Old Fort National Historic Site is located at 35110 CO-194, La Junta, CO 81050, approximately 4 miles east of La Junta. Look for the entrance on the north side of the road.
