The Colorado River Trailhead is located approximately 12 miles north of Grand Lake, Colorado, along US-34/Trail Ridge Road. From Grand Lake, follow US-34 north. The trailhead will be on the western side of the road. Trail Ridge Road typically closes mid-October to Memorial Day due to snow. Check current road conditions before heading out. Parking is available at the trailhead. Parking is free.
