Walking
From the center of Estes Park, head east on Elkhorn Avenue (US-34). Continue walking for about 1 mile until you reach the intersection with Moraine Avenue. Turn right onto Moraine Avenue and walk for another 0.5 miles. You will see the signs for the Rocky Mountain National Park entrance. Once you reach the entrance, you can choose to take a shuttle or continue on foot through the park towards Grand Lake. The total distance is approximately 1.5 miles from the center of Estes Park to the park entrance.
