Driving
To reach the Longs Peak Trailhead from Estes Park, drive south on Colorado Highway 7 for approximately 9 miles. Turn right onto Longs Peak Road and continue for 1 mile to the trailhead parking area. Parking is limited and fills up quickly, especially on weekends, so arrive early. Parking along the road is allowed in designated areas.

Public Transport
During the summer, you can take the Bustang bus from Denver to Estes Park. From the Estes Park Visitor Center, you can make a reservation to ride the Hiker Shuttle to the Park & Ride transit hub. From there, transfer to the Bear Lake or Moraine Park shuttle routes. Unfortunately, there is not a shuttle that goes directly to the Longs Peak Trailhead. From the closest stop, you would need to find alternative transportation such as a taxi or rideshare, adding approximately $30-$50 to the cost.
