From downtown Estes Park, head east on Elkhorn Avenue. Continue past the intersection with Moraine Avenue, walking approximately 0.5 miles until you see the entrance to Knoll-Willows Open Space on your left. The trailhead is marked by a small sign. This is a free and easy walk from the town center.

Take the free Estes Park Shuttle (The Peak) to the Estes Park Visitor Center. From there, it's a short walk east on Elkhorn Avenue to the open space.
