    The City of Fort Collins Natural Areas Department is located at 1745 Hoffman Mill Rd, Fort Collins, CO 80524. If you are starting from the intersection of Prospect Road and Timberline Road, head north on Timberline Road. Turn right onto Hoffman Mill Road. The Natural Areas Department will be on your left. There is no trailhead parking at 1745 Hoffman Mill Road. A short spur trail goes from the Poudre River Trail south to the Natural Areas Department's headquarters. Check out the native plant demonstration garden that surrounds the office.

  • Public Transport

    Transfort, Fort Collins' public transportation system, provides bus service to various points near the Natural Areas Department. From the Harmony Transportation Center, take Route 19 toward the Fort Collins Downtown Transit Center. Get off at the Timberline and Prospect stop, then walk north on Timberline Road, turn right onto Hoffman Mill Road. The Natural Areas Department will be on your left. A single ride costs $1.25.

  • Driving

    From I-25, take the Harmony Road exit and head west. Turn north onto Timberline Road, then turn right onto Hoffman Mill Road. The Natural Areas Department will be on your left. Parking is limited, especially during peak hours. Consider carpooling or using alternative transportation. Parking is free.
