Getting There

Walking
From downtown Golden, the museum is easily accessible on foot. Head east on 10th Street towards the Clear Creek. The museum is located at 923 10th Street, on the left side, a short walk from Washington Avenue. Enjoy the scenic views of Clear Creek along the way.

Public Transport
The RTD W Line light rail travels to the Jefferson County Government Center-Golden Station. From there, you can take the Ore Cart free shuttle service to downtown Golden. Get off near the Golden City Hall and walk east on 10th Street to the museum. Alternatively, from Lakewood, take the RTD Light Rail to the Federal Center Station and then catch the 76 bus towards Golden. Get off at the 10th St and Maple St stop. The museum will be a short walk east on 10th St. RTD bus single fares cost $3.00.

Driving
From I-70, take exit 263 for US-6 E toward Golden. Follow US-6 E for about 3 miles, then turn left onto 10th Street. The museum will be on your right at 923 10th St. Free street parking is generally available. Check for designated museum spots to avoid tickets.
