Walking
The Golden History Museum is located in downtown Golden, easily accessible on foot from most points in the downtown area. From Washington Avenue, the main street, walk west on 10th Street towards the Clear Creek. The museum is located at 923 10th Street, on the right-hand side, just before the Billy Drew Bridge that crosses Clear Creek. Walking time from anywhere downtown is typically less than 10 minutes. There is no cost associated with walking.

Public Transport
Golden is served by RTD (Regional Transportation District). The W Line light rail connects Denver Union Station to the Jefferson County Government Center–Golden Station. From the station, you can take the free Ore Cart Shuttle to downtown Golden. Several routes serve different parts of downtown. Check the City of Golden website for current routes and schedules. Alternatively, you can walk or bike from the station to downtown Golden. The W Line fare is around $3, and the Ore Cart Shuttle is free.

The Golden History Museum is located at 923 10th St, Golden, CO 80401. From I-70, take the US-6 W exit towards Golden. Follow US-6 W to 19th St in Golden. Take the 19th St exit. Continue on 19th St. Take Jackson St and 10th St to the museum. Free street parking is generally available. Be sure to observe any parking restrictions. Parking is also available in designated museum spots.
