Start your journey from the center of Glenwood Springs, at the intersection of Grand Avenue and 7th Street. Head south on Grand Avenue, which will turn into Highway 82. Continue walking approximately 1.5 miles until you reach the entrance to Glenwood Canyon. Be sure to enjoy the views as you walk along the scenic route. Once you arrive at the entrance, you can access various trails and viewpoints within the canyon.

Bike Rental
Rent a bike from one of the local shops in Glenwood Springs, such as Glenwood Adventure Company. After renting your bike, head south on Grand Avenue and follow the same route as the walking directions. Biking will allow you to cover the distance to Glenwood Canyon more quickly, and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. The bike path will lead you directly to the canyon entrance where you can park your bike and explore the area.

Check the local bus schedule for the Roaring Fork Transportation Authority (RFTA) which operates routes in the Glenwood Springs area. Board a bus going towards Aspen or Glenwood Canyon (make sure to confirm your destination with the driver). The bus will drop you off near the entrance to Glenwood Canyon. From there, you can walk into the canyon and start exploring.
