Getting There

  • Shuttle

    All visitors must park at the Norris Penrose Event Center (1045 Lower Gold Camp Rd). From there, a complimentary shuttle service transports guests to the entrance of Seven Falls. The shuttle ride is approximately 15 minutes. There is no parking available at the actual Seven Falls location.

The history of Seven Falls dates back to 1872 when Nathaniel Colby inhabited the land. In 1883, James Hull constructed a road and stairway to enhance the experience, recognizing its scenic value. Today, the falls are owned and managed by The Broadmoor, a renowned luxury resort.The seven waterfalls cascade down a 1,250-foot-walled box canyon, surrounded by towering rock formations like the Pillars of Hercules. Visitors can ascend 224 steps alongside the falls or take an elevator to the Eagle's Nest observation platform for panoramic views. In the evenings, the falls are illuminated with colorful lights, creating a magical atmosphere.Beyond the falls, explore hiking trails that offer sweeping views of Colorado Springs. For thrill-seekers, the Broadmoor Soaring Adventure features zipline courses above the canyon. Restaurant 1858, located at the base of the falls, provides a unique dining experience with seasonal Colorado cuisine. The names of each of the seven falls are: Bridal Veil, Ramona, Hill, Hull, Feather, Weimer, and Shorty.
