Getting There

Walking
The U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum is located in downtown Colorado Springs, making it easily accessible on foot from many nearby hotels and attractions. From the heart of downtown, head south on Sierra Madre Street. The museum will be on your left, just past Vermijo Avenue. Look for the distinctive, modern building with its shimmering, fish-scale-like exterior. No costs involved.

Public Transport
Mountain Metro bus service runs throughout Colorado Springs. Take the bus to the downtown terminal, which is less than one mile from the Museum. From there, you can walk south on Sierra Madre Street to reach the museum. Alternatively, the free downtown shuttle, 'The Zeb,' stops near the museum. Check Mountain Metro's website for routes and schedules. A single bus fare costs $1.75.

Driving
From I-25, take Exit 141 for Cimarron Street. Turn left onto Cimarron Street if coming from the north, or right if coming from the south. Then, turn left onto Sierra Madre Street. The museum will be on your left. Convenient parking is available in the Park Union District lot across the street from the museum for $7.50 per day until 4 PM, and $15 after 4 PM. Metered parking is also available along Sierra Madre Street and Vermijo Avenue for $1.50 per hour.
