    Car

    If you’re driving from Colorado Springs, take Highway 24 west to Manitou Springs. Once you reach Manitou Springs, follow the signs to Pikes Peak Highway. The entrance is located at the end of Manitou Avenue. There is an entrance fee of $15 per vehicle, so be prepared to pay at the gate. Follow Pikes Peak Highway (also known as Pikes Peak Scenic Byway) for approximately 19 miles until you reach the summit. The road is paved and offers several scenic overlooks along the way.

    Public Transportation

    To reach Pikes Peak via public transportation, first take the Mountain Metropolitan Transit bus route 33 from downtown Colorado Springs to the Manitou Springs station. Once in Manitou Springs, you can either take a taxi or rideshare service to the entrance of Pikes Peak Highway. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time as service may vary. Once at the entrance, you will still need to pay the $15 entry fee per vehicle.
