Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Pikes Peak, start by heading south on CO-67 S from the Pikes Peak Highway entrance. Continue for about 12 miles until you reach the junction with US-24 W. Merge onto US-24 W toward Colorado Springs. After about 14 miles, take the exit for I-25 S toward Colorado Springs. Continue on I-25 S for approximately 5 miles and take exit 141 for Garden of the Gods Road. Turn left onto Garden of the Gods Road and follow it for about 2 miles until you reach the main entrance to the Garden of the Gods park, located at 1805 N 30th St, Colorado Springs, CO 80904. Parking is free at the park.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer using public transportation, you can take the Mountain Metro Transit bus. From the Pikes Peak area, head to the nearest bus stop that services Route 3 or Route 25. Board the bus heading towards Colorado Springs. Transfer to Route 36 at the downtown transit center, which goes directly to the Garden of the Gods. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time as services may vary. The fare for a one-way trip is typically around $2.00.

• Bicycle

  For those who enjoy biking, you can ride from Pikes Peak to Garden of the Gods. Use the same route as the car directions: head down CO-67 S to US-24 W and then to I-25 S. However, be cautious of traffic and ensure you have the proper biking gear. There are bike-friendly paths in Colorado Springs that can lead you to the park. Remember to wear a helmet and follow local biking regulations.
