Walking
From downtown Estes Park, the Visitor Center is easily accessible by foot via the Riverwalk. Follow the paved path along the Big Thompson River eastwards. The walk is approximately 1 mile and takes about 20 minutes, offering scenic views along the way.

Public Transport
Estes Park offers a free seasonal shuttle service that connects various points in town, including major lodging areas, downtown, and the Visitor Center. Several shuttle routes stop directly at the Visitor Center, providing a convenient and cost-free way to reach the destination. Check the local schedule for route details and times. The Estes Park Riverwalk Parking Garage, located at 691 N. St. Vrain Ave, is a hub for all five seasonal free Town of Estes Park shuttles.

Driving
From the intersection of US-34 and US-36, the Estes Park Visitor Center is located at 500 Big Thompson Avenue. A large parking structure is available near the visitor center. Parking is free from mid-October through late May. From May 23 through October 19, parking is paid. The ParkMobile App can be used to pay for parking.
