Walking

From Ouray's downtown area, head west on 8th Avenue. The park and trailhead are located at the end of 8th Avenue. The walk is approximately 0.5 miles and should take about 10-15 minutes. There are no costs associated with walking to the park.
Driving

From Ouray's Main Street, drive west on 8th Avenue. Follow 8th Avenue to the far east end where the trailhead parking lot is located. Parking is free. However, parking is limited with only about 20 spaces. During peak season, arrive early to secure a spot.
