Walking
From downtown Ouray, Box Cañon Falls Park is accessible by foot. Head south on Main Street, which turns into the Million Dollar Highway. After a short distance, turn right onto County Road 361 (Camp Bird Road), following signs for Box Cañon Falls. Stay right at the fork and follow Box Cañon Road to the park entrance. The walk is approximately 0.5 miles from the center of town.

From Ouray, drive south on Main Street/US 550. Just past the OHV Staging Area, turn right onto County Road 361 (Camp Bird Road). Stay right at the fork, then follow Box Cañon Road to the parking area. Parking is available at the park entrance. Parking costs are included in the entrance fee. During peak season, parking may be limited.
