    From Denver or Boulder, drive south on US-85 and exit onto S Platte River Drive, following signs for Santa Fe Drive. Take the first right toward Mineral Avenue, then turn right onto S Platte Parkway/S Platte River Parkway. Follow it for 0.4 miles until you reach W Carson Drive. Turn left, and South Platte Park and Carson Nature Center will be on your left. Parking is available in the park's lots. Parking is free.

    The RTD Light Rail D Line has stops near the park. From the Mineral Avenue Station, it's about a 15-minute walk. Head west on Mineral Avenue, turn right onto S Platte River Parkway, then turn left onto W Carson Drive. The park will be on your left.     If you are near Aspen Grove shopping center, the South Platte Park and Carson Nature Center is located directly behind it.
