To get to Country Boy Mine from Vail, start by heading to the Vail Transportation Center located in Vail Village. There, you can catch a Summit Stage shuttle bus heading towards Breckenridge. Ensure you check the schedule for the latest departure times, as the service may vary. Stay on the shuttle until you reach the Breckenridge Transfer Station. From there, transfer to the Breckenridge bus that goes to the French Gulch area. You will want to request a stop at French Gulch Rd. Once you get off the bus, walk approximately 0.5 miles along French Gulch Rd to reach the Country Boy Mine entrance.

If you're feeling adventurous, consider renting a bike in Vail. Start at the Vail Bike Path, which is accessible from various points in Vail. Follow the bike path toward Breckenridge, which will take you past beautiful scenery. Once you reach Breckenridge, navigate towards French Gulch Rd.
