From Vail Village, head to the Vail Transportation Center located at 1000 Vail View Drive. Catch the ECO bus heading towards Minturn. It's a scenic ride of about 15-20 minutes. Get off at the Minturn stop. From there, you can either walk or catch a local shuttle that may take you closer to Montgomery Reservoir, which is approximately 4 miles away. If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local shops in Vail Village. Head south on the bike path that runs parallel to the river, following signs for Minturn.
