Discover more about The Adventure Park at the Discovery Museum

The Adventure Park at the Discovery Museum is an outdoor adventure park located on 5 acres of trees behind the Discovery Museum in Bridgeport, Connecticut. This aerial ropes park features over 180 platforms installed in the trees, connected by cable, wood, and rope to form bridges, ladders, and zip lines. These elements link together to create 13 separate trails through the trees. The park offers trails for ages five to adult, with challenge levels suitable for every age and skill level – from beginner to expert. Each person selects trails based on their desired difficulty level and climbs at their own pace. Much like a ski mountain, each trail is color-coded, indicating its difficulty level. The experience is self-guided and focused on exploration and discovery. With roughly 186 treetop platforms connected by bridges, ladders, 36 zip lines and other crossings, trails are designed for self-discovery. Visitors can expect a safety briefing and practice session before starting their adventure. The park is operated in cooperation with, but independently of, The Discovery Museum. It is designed, built and operated by Outdoor Venture Group (OVG), a leading authority in aerial adventure parks.
