Walking
Start at the Bridgeport train station located at 525 Water St, Bridgeport, CT 06607. Exit the station and head southeast on Water Street. Continue straight for about 0.6 miles until you reach the intersection with Atlantic Street. Turn right onto Atlantic Street and walk for another 0.3 miles. You will see the entrance to Seaside Park on your left. Enter Seaside Park and follow the path that leads towards the waterfront. As you get closer to the water, veer left to follow the shoreline path. Continue along the shoreline for approximately 1 mile, enjoying the views of the Long Island Sound. Eventually, you will arrive at the area near Tongue Point Lighthouse, which is visible from the park.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Bridgeport train station at 525 Water St. From the station, head southeast on Water Street. After about 0.6 miles, turn right onto Atlantic Street. Continue for about 0.3 miles until you see the entrance to Seaside Park on your left. Enter the park and follow the designated bike paths along the waterfront. Continue cycling along the shoreline path for approximately 1 mile. You will approach Tongue Point Lighthouse, which is located along the park’s coastal path.
Public Transit and Walking
From your location in Bridgeport, find a nearby bus stop. Take the Greater Bridgeport Transit bus route that heads towards Seaside Park. Get off at the Seaside Park stop. Upon disembarking, enter the park and follow the walking path that leads towards the waterfront. Walk along the shoreline path for about 1 mile, and you will arrive at Tongue Point Lighthouse. Make sure to check the current bus schedule for accurate times.
