From Greenwich, walk to the Greenwich Metro-North train station located at 2 Railroad Ave, Greenwich, CT 06830. Board a New Haven Line train heading towards Grand Central Terminal. The journey takes approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central Terminal, transfer to the S (Shuttle) train which will take you to Times Square-42nd Street Station. From Times Square, walk to 53rd Street. Head east on W 42nd St toward 7th Ave, turn left onto 7th Ave, and then turn right onto W 53rd St. The 53rd Street Library will be on your left at 18 W 53rd St.
Bus and Subway
From the center of Greenwich, walk to the nearest bus stop and catch the #10 bus towards Stamford. Get off at the Stamford Transportation Center. From there, take the Metro-North train to Grand Central Terminal. Once at Grand Central, take the S (Shuttle) train to Times Square-42nd Street. After exiting the subway, walk east on W 42nd St, turn left onto 7th Ave, then right onto W 53rd St. The library will be located at 18 W 53rd St.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from a local bike-sharing service in Greenwich. Begin your ride heading north on Greenwich Ave. Continue on this road until you reach the Mianus River. Cross the river via the bridge and follow the signs towards I-95 North. Stay on the bike path that leads towards the Bronx River Parkway. You can continue on bike paths which will eventually lead you to the city. Once in Manhattan, make your way to W 53rd St, where the library is located at 18 W 53rd St.
Walking

Start by walking north on Greenwich Ave then take a left on E Putnam Ave. Continue walking towards the Byram River and cross over the bridge. Follow the path along the river and head towards I-95. Walk along the pedestrian paths that lead into the city, specifically towards the Bronx River Parkway, which will eventually lead you into Manhattan. Once you reach the city, navigate to W 53rd St and find the library at 18 W 53rd St.
