Start from the Stamford Train Station. Exit the station and head towards the bus terminal located adjacent to the train station. Look for the Metro-North train service to Grand Central Terminal (GCT) in New York City. Purchase a ticket for the train heading to GCT. Once you arrive at Grand Central, exit the station and proceed to the street level. From Grand Central, walk west on 42nd Street for about six blocks until you reach 6th Avenue.
