If you're starting from the Greenwich Train Station, exit the station and head east on Railroad Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with East Putnam Avenue (Route 1). Cross East Putnam Avenue and walk along the sidewalk until you reach the traffic lights. Turn left onto East Putnam Avenue and walk for several blocks until you see the entrance to Cos Cob Park on your right at 22 Sound Shore Drive. The park is just a short walk from the main road.

Turn right onto East Putnam Avenue and continue walking until you come to the traffic lights. Cross over to the opposite side of East Putnam Avenue and head towards 22 Sound Shore Drive. You will see the entrance to Cos Cob Park on your right. It's approximately a 20-minute walk from Greenwich Avenue.
