Train
From Greenwich, head to the Greenwich Metro-North train station located at 2 Railroad Avenue. Purchase a ticket to New York Grand Central Terminal. Once you arrive at Grand Central, exit the station and follow the signs for the subway. Take the 7 train from Grand Central to Times Square. At Times Square, transfer to the 1 train towards South Ferry and ride it to 72nd Street. Exit the station and walk west on 72nd Street for about 5 minutes until you reach Wagner Cove in Central Park.
Bus
From the Greenwich Town Hall area, locate the nearest bus stop for the CT Transit bus service. Take the bus to Stamford Transit Center. At Stamford, switch to the Metro-North train towards New York. Disembark at Grand Central Terminal. After exiting the station, follow the signs to the subway and take the 1 train towards South Ferry. Get off at 72nd Street and walk west for about 5 minutes to reach Wagner Cove in Central Park.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local rental shop in Greenwich. Start by cycling towards the Greenwich Metro-North train station, then take the train to Grand Central Terminal. Once at Grand Central, continue cycling north through the streets of Manhattan. You can reach Central Park by cycling through the streets, or simply follow the avenues that lead to the park. Once you reach 72nd Street, follow it west until you find Wagner Cove.
Walking
If you are feeling adventurous, you can walk to Wagner Cove. Start from the center of Greenwich and head north towards the train station. Board the Metro-North train to New York City. Once you arrive at Grand Central Terminal, exit and walk to the nearest subway station to take the 1 train towards South Ferry. Get off at 72nd Street, then walk west for about 5 minutes to arrive at Wagner Cove in Central Park.
