Walk along East Putnam Avenue for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Greenwich Avenue. Turn right onto Greenwich Avenue and continue walking for approximately 0.3 miles. The Fourth Ward Historic District will be on your left after you pass the intersection with West Elm Street.

    From the Greenwich Metro-North Train Station, you can take the local bus. Look for the CT Transit Bus #10 or #11 outside the station. Board the bus and ask the driver for the nearest stop to the Fourth Ward Historic District. You will ride for about 10-15 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to Greenwich Avenue and follow the walking directions from the previous option to reach the Fourth Ward Historic District.
