If you are in central Greenwich, start at the Greenwich Train Station. Head east on East Putnam Avenue (Route 1) for about 0.5 miles. You will pass by various shops and eateries. Continue walking until you reach a fork in the road at the intersection with Greenwich Avenue. Take the left fork onto Greenwich Avenue and continue walking for another 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with Sound Beach Avenue. Turn right onto Sound Beach Avenue.

At the end of Sound Beach Avenue, you will reach a roundabout. Take the first exit onto Shore Road, which will lead you closer to the beach.
