If you are in central Greenwich, start at the Greenwich Train Station. Head east on East Putnam Avenue (Route 1) for about 0.5 miles. You will pass by various shops and eateries. Continue walking until you reach a fork in the road at the intersection with Greenwich Avenue. Take the left fork onto Greenwich Avenue and continue walking for another 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with Sound Beach Avenue. Turn right onto Sound Beach Avenue.

Continue down Sound Beach Avenue for about 0.4 miles. You will pass by several residential areas and will notice that the surroundings become more scenic as you approach the shoreline. At the end of Sound Beach Avenue, you will reach a roundabout. Take the first exit onto Shore Road, which will lead you closer to the beach.

Follow Shore Road for approximately 0.2 miles. You will enjoy views of the water on your left. As you walk, look for signs directing you to Uncas Point Beach. You will eventually reach a small parking area and a pathway leading directly to the beach. The beach entrance will be on your right.
