If you are traveling by car, start by getting onto I-91 N from your current location in Hartford County. Follow the signs for I-91 N towards Bradley International Airport. Continue on I-91 N for approximately 10 miles. Take exit 40 for CT-20 toward Bradley International Airport/Windsor Locks. Merge onto CT-20 W and continue for about 2 miles. Take the exit toward Perimeter Road, and keep right at the fork to continue on Perimeter Road. The New England Air Museum will be on your right at 36 Perimeter Rd, Windsor Locks, CT 06096. Parking is available on-site and is usually free.

To reach the New England Air Museum via public transportation, you can take CTtransit bus service from Hartford. Board the bus at the Hartford Union Station and take the Route 30 towards Windsor Locks. The trip takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Windsor Locks stop, you will need to walk about 1 mile to the museum. Head southwest on Main St toward Perimeter Rd. Turn right onto Perimeter Rd, and you will find the museum at 36 Perimeter Rd, Windsor Locks, CT 06096. Please check the latest bus schedules and fares on the CTtransit website.

If you prefer to travel by train, you can take Amtrak or Metro-North from Hartford to Windsor. After arriving at Windsor train station, you will need to catch a bus or taxi to the museum. Alternatively, you can take a local bus from Windsor train station to Windsor Locks, which will take approximately 15-20 minutes.
