Getting There

• Walking

  If you're starting from Hartford's central bus station, the Connecticut Transit Center, exit the station and head north on Union Station Plaza toward Asylum Street. Turn right onto Asylum Street and continue walking for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with Main Street. Turn left onto Main Street, and after a few blocks, look for the intersection with Charter Oak Avenue. Turn right onto Charter Oak Avenue, and you will find Charter Oak Cultural Center at 21 Charter Oak Ave, just a short walk down the street.

• Public Bus

  From Hartford's central area, you can take the CT Transit bus route 60 or 66 from the Hartford Union Station. Board the bus heading towards the Charter Oak area. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Disembark at the stop closest to Charter Oak Avenue. Once you get off the bus, walk a short distance to 21 Charter Oak Ave, where Charter Oak Cultural Center is located.

• Biking

  If you're comfortable biking, rent a bike from a local bike share station in Hartford. Start by heading south on Main Street. Follow Main Street as it curves to the right and turns into Charter Oak Avenue. Continue straight for about half a mile until you reach 21 Charter Oak Ave. There are bike racks available at the Charter Oak Cultural Center for your convenience.
