From any location in Housatonic Valley, get onto Route 8 South. Follow the signs for Waterbury and merge onto I-84 East towards Hartford. Continue on I-84 for approximately 30 miles. Take exit 48 for Capitol Avenue. Merge onto Capitol Avenue, then turn left onto Main Street. Continue straight and take a right onto Jewell Street. The Bushnell Park Carousel will be on your left at 1 Jewell St, Hartford, CT 06103. Parking is available nearby, but may incur a fee depending on the location.

If you are at a train station in Housatonic Valley, take the Metro-North Railroad towards Grand Central Terminal. Transfer at Bridgeport to the Amtrak train heading to Hartford.
