If you are driving from anywhere in the Housatonic Valley, take CT-8 N towards Waterbury. Merge onto I-95 S and continue for approximately 36 miles. Take exit 85 for CT-349 toward Groton/New London. Continue on CT-349 for about 1.5 miles, then turn left onto Park Ave. The park entrance will be on your right at the intersection with Monument St. There is no parking fee at Fort Griswold Battlefield State Park.
