If you are traveling by car, head towards West Haven. From downtown New Haven, take I-95 South towards New York. Continue on I-95 for about 5 miles. Take exit 43 for Route 34 toward West Haven. Merge onto Route 34 and continue for about 2 miles. Turn right onto Captain Thomas Blvd. Savin Rock Park will be on your right at 435 Captain Thomas Blvd, West Haven, CT 06516. There is ample parking available near the park.

Public Transportation
For public transportation, you can take the Metro-North Railroad or CTTransit bus services. If you are taking the train, board a Metro-North train to the West Haven station. Upon arrival, exit the station and head to the bus stop outside. You can take CTTransit bus route 232, which will take you directly to Captain Thomas Blvd. Get off at the stop closest to the park (ask the driver for the best stop). Savin Rock Park is a short walk from the bus stop.

If you are already in West Haven and prefer to walk, Savin Rock Park is accessible on foot. From the center of West Haven, head south towards the coastline. Follow the signs to Captain Thomas Blvd, and you will arrive at the park in approximately 20-30 minutes depending on your starting point.
