If you're starting from New Haven's Union Station, exit the station and head northeast on Union Ave towards the intersection with State St. Turn left onto State St and continue for about 0.6 miles until you reach the intersection with Elm St. Turn right onto Elm St, and after a few blocks, turn left onto High St. Harkness Tower will be on your left at 74 High St.
Bus
From the New Haven Green (the central park area), catch the CT Transit bus number 224 or 225 towards East Haven. Get off at the stop on High St. Walk north on High St for about 0.2 miles, and you will find Harkness Tower on your left at 74 High St.
Biking
If you’re renting a bike, start at the New Haven Green and head east on Elm St. Continue straight as Elm becomes High St. Harkness Tower will be on your left at 74 High St. There are bike racks near the tower for parking.
Walking
From Yale University’s Old Campus, exit onto College St and head south. Turn right onto Elm St and walk west until you reach High St. Turn right onto High St, and Harkness Tower will be a short walk ahead on your right at 74 High St.
