From downtown New Haven, walk to the New Haven Green. Look for the CT Transit bus stop, which is located near the intersection of Church Street and Chapel Street. Take the CT Transit bus route 208 towards Lighthouse Point Park. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Stay on the bus until you reach the Lighthouse Point Park stop, which is located right outside the park entrance at 2 Lighthouse Rd.

Bicycle
If you're comfortable biking, rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing programs in New Haven. Start at the New Haven Green and head south on State Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Ferry Street, then turn right. Follow Ferry Street until you reach the end, where it meets Lighthouse Road. Turn left onto Lighthouse Road, and the park entrance will be on your right.

For those who prefer walking, start from the New Haven Green. Head south on Church Street until you reach the intersection with State Street. Turn left on State Street and continue heading south until you reach the intersection with Ferry Street. Turn right onto Ferry Street, and walk towards Lighthouse Road. Once you reach Lighthouse Road, turn left, and continue walking until you see the entrance to Lighthouse Point Park on your right at 2 Lighthouse Rd. The walk will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
