Consider arriving early to secure a spot.

Westport is accessible by Metro-North Railroad. From Westport Station, you can take a taxi or use the Wheels2U on-demand service to reach Compo Beach. A short taxi ride from the station to Compo Beach will cost approximately $10-$15. Alternatively, the Coastal Link bus travels along the Route 1 corridor through Westport. Check the Norwalk Transit District website for schedules and routes. Bus fare is approximately $1.75.

From the Minuteman Statue at the intersection of Compo Road South and Compo Road, walk south on Compo Road South, then continue onto Compo Beach Road. The walk is approximately 1.5 miles and takes about 30 minutes. There are no specific access fees for walking to the beach.
