From Jersey City, head to the PATH train station at Exchange Place. Purchase a ticket to 33rd Street (New York City). Board the train and travel towards World Trade Center. Once you arrive, exit the station and head to the World Trade Center Oculus. From there, take the E subway train towards Jamaica Center. Disembark at 42nd Street - Port Authority Bus Terminal. Transfer to the A, C, or E subway lines towards Harlem. Disembark at 125th Street. From here, you can take the M100 or M101 bus towards 5th Avenue. Get off at Frederick Douglass Boulevard, then walk west towards Frederick Douglass Circle.

Make your way to the Liberty State Park Ferry Terminal in Jersey City. Purchase a ticket for the ferry to Manhattan. Board the ferry and enjoy the ride across the Hudson River. Once you arrive at Battery Park, exit the terminal and walk towards the subway station at Bowling Green. Take the 4 or 5 subway line towards 125th Street. Disembark at 125th Street. From here, take the M100 or M101 bus towards 5th Avenue and get off at Frederick Douglass Boulevard. Walk west towards Frederick Douglass Circle.
