    From West Hartford Center, head west on Farmington Avenue (Route 4). The main entrance to the West Hartford Reservoirs is located at 1420 Farmington Avenue. Parking is available in the designated lots. Parking is free. Be aware that the lots can fill up quickly on weekends.

  • Public Transport

    From downtown Hartford, take the CTtransit 66 bus towards Westfarms Mall. Get off at the Farmington Ave @ Reservoir Rd stop, which is near the main entrance. From the bus stop, walk west along Farmington Avenue to the main entrance of the West Hartford Reservoirs. A single bus fare is $1.75.

  • Biking

    From West Hartford Center, bike west along Farmington Avenue (Route 4). There are bike lanes available for much of the route. The entrance to the West Hartford Reservoirs is located at 1420 Farmington Avenue. Bike racks are available at the parking lot.
