Getting There

  • Public Transport

    Start at New Britain Central Station. From the station, take the CT Transit bus #11 towards Farmington. The bus will take approximately 20 minutes to reach the Farmington area. Request to stop at the intersection of Batterson Park Road and Route 6. Once you get off the bus, walk south on Batterson Park Road for about 0.5 miles until you reach the entrance to Batterson Park.

    If you are near the New Britain Museum of American Art, head southwest on Main Street toward the intersection with West Main Street. Turn left onto West Main Street and continue walking for about 0.8 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 6. Cross Route 6 and continue onto Batterson Park Road. Walk for another 0.5 miles to arrive at Batterson Park.

    If you prefer biking, start at the New Britain Central Park. Head west towards the Farmington Canal Heritage Trail. Take the trail north until you reach the intersection with Batterson Park Road.
