From the main road in Muri, access to the lagoon is readily available via multiple beach access points. Many resorts and restaurants are located directly on the beach. Public parking is available near the Muri Beach Club. From the parking lot, the beach is a short walk.
Public Transport
The bus is a convenient way to reach Muri Lagoon from anywhere on Rarotonga. The bus circles the island in both clockwise and counter-clockwise directions. Ask the driver to be dropped off at Muri Beach. From the main road, it's a short walk to the beach.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available from anywhere on Rarotonga. A taxi from the airport to Muri Lagoon will take approximately 20 minutes. Expect to pay around NZD 30-40.
