If you are driving, begin your journey from the main town of Avarua. Head west on Ara Tapu road (the main road) for approximately 7 km. Watch for signs directing you to Arorangi and turn left onto Maungaroa Drive. Continue along Maungaroa Drive for about 1 km. Highland Paradise will be on your left. There is ample parking available on-site. Note that a rental car can cost around NZD 50-100 per day.
