Start from the Arorangi Beach area. Head east along the beach path until you reach the main road, Ara Tapu. Turn left onto Ara Tapu, walking north. Continue on Ara Tapu for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the sign for Kikau Hut on your left. The hut will be located along the road, and you will see its entrance as you approach.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Arorangi Beach area. Ride east towards the Ara Tapu main road. Once you reach the road, turn left and continue riding north. It’s about a 10-15 minute ride. Look for the Kikau Hut sign on your left, just off the main road.
