Walking
If you are starting from the Arorangi Beach area, head west along the beach path. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with the main road (Ara Tapu). At this intersection, turn left onto Ara Tapu. Keep walking along this road for about 1 kilometer. You will see signs pointing to Aroa Lagoon Marine Reserve. Follow these signs and you will find the entrance to the reserve on your right.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Arorangi Beach area and cycle west along the beach path. When you reach the main road (Ara Tapu), turn left. Continue cycling for approximately 1 kilometer until you see the signs for Aroa Lagoon Marine Reserve. The entrance will be on your right-hand side.

Though public transport options in Arorangi are limited, you can wait for a local bus or shuttle service along Ara Tapu. Board any bus heading towards the Rarotongan Resort and inform the driver you want to go to Aroa Lagoon Marine Reserve. They will drop you off near the entrance of the reserve.
