Taxi
From Rarotonga International Airport, a taxi is a convenient option to reach Kura's Kabanas. Taxis are readily available outside the airport terminal. The ride to Muri Beach takes approximately 18-20 minutes, covering about 13 km. Expect to pay around NZ$40-NZ$45 per person for a fixed-rate airport transfer to Muri. Confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.

Public Transport
The public bus is a budget-friendly option. Two bus routes circle the island: Clockwise and Anti-Clockwise. From the airport, take the Clockwise bus towards Muri Beach. The bus stop is located on the main road outside the airport. The bus ride takes approximately 45-50 minutes to reach Muri. The standard fare is NZ$5 per adult for a single ride or NZ$8 for a round trip. A luggage fee of NZ$2 per large bag may apply. Buses operate hourly from 7 am to 10 pm, Monday to Saturday. On Sundays, the Clockwise route operates with a reduced schedule.

Rental Car
If you prefer to drive, rental cars are available at the airport. Follow the main road (Ara Tapu) east towards Muri Beach. The drive takes approximately 18-20 minutes. Free private parking is available at Kura's Kabanas. Note that a local scooter license may be required to legally drive a scooter if your current license doesn't cover motorcycles. Driving is on the left side of the road. Be aware that the speed limit is 50km/h outside of Avarua township, Muri Beach, and school zones, where it is 30km/h.
