The 'Clockwise' bus departs from the Paradise Inn in Avarua every 30 minutes and will drop you off at Muri Beach Resort, a short walk from the beach. The journey takes approximately 15 minutes. A single ride costs NZ$3, or you can purchase an all-day pass for NZ$12.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available in Avarua and can take you directly to Muri Beach. The ride is approximately 12 minutes and costs between NZ$19-NZ$23. Several taxi companies operate on the island, including Rainbow Taxi and Muri Height Taxi. Taxis can also be pre-booked.

If you have rented a car, Muri Beach is a straightforward 12-minute drive from Avarua. Follow the main road along the coast, and you'll see signs for Muri Beach. Free parking is available near the beach, but spaces are limited, especially on weekends. Consider arriving early to secure a spot.
