Inform the driver that you wish to stop at Pa Monument. The driver will drop you off near the dirt road leading to the monument, approximately a 5-minute walk to the site. The bus fare is approximately NZD 5.

Walking

From Avarua town center, head east on Ara Tapu (the main road around the island). Continue until you see signs for Avatiu Tapere. Look for the Pa Monument sign shortly after passing Avatiu Valley Road. Turn left onto the dirt road leading to the monument. The walk from Avarua town center takes approximately 20-30 minutes.
